How to Use Mehron Modeling Wax
Preparation and Application
- Build-up Areas: Use a suitable product to create the desired shape or texture for your special effects. This could involve using prosthetics, sculpting with clay, or applying layers of latex.
- Seal with Fixative A: Once the build-up is complete, apply a layer of Fixative A to secure it and prepare the surface for the next step.
- Apply Latex: Apply a final layer of latex to create a smooth, skin-like coating over the build-up and fixative.
Removal
- Peel Off: Gently peel off as much of the latex product as possible.
- Cleanse with Makeup Remover: Use a makeup remover to dissolve any remaining residue.
- Wash with Soap and Water: Finally, wash the area with soap and water to remove any traces of the product.
By following these steps, you can effectively create and remove special effects using latex.
